AM tackles tough questions from Ysgol Glan Clywd pupils

Vale of Clwyd AM, Ann Jones, has joined a panel of AM’s at Ysgol Glan Clywd to answer questions produced by students.

Pupils asked a series of questions on a variety of hard hitting topics, ranging from matters affecting Wales locally such as employment rates in Rhyl and the placement of wind farms, to the issue of cuts to the NHS and what stance should be taken on international humanitarian intervention.

Mrs Jones said that: ‘’I was delighted to see that the students have developed such in depth and thought provoking questions; it shows their engagement and understanding of local and global affairs.

“It was an important and stimulating debate that raised a lot of key points and I enjoyed hearing what the students had to say on political issues”.
